at 10:30 PM - First Irish led American Football television broadcast in thirty years

The Irish NFL Show announced extensive draft coverage on Saturday, with numerous guests appearing on various platforms from Sunday April 25th. Online content will be shown with partners Pundit Arena, while a historic television broadcast with Virgin Media will premiere on Wednesday night.

The first guest, Adam Rank, is well known among NFL fans in Ireland. Rank, who officially has been giving his irreverent look on the NFL since joining the league in 1995, first tried his hand at NFL writing when he took third place at a sixth-grade writing festival with his essay, "Please, Mr. Davis, keep your stinking Raiders in Oakland." Rank has since moved on to NFL Media's "NFL Fantasy LIVE" show and is a part of the supporting cast on the "Dave Dameshek Football Program" podcast and the rebooted "NFL Fantasy LIVE" podcast. Rank is also a featured face on NFL Network.

On Monday night, the show will welcome Jim Nagy. The University of Michigan graduate entered the NFL as an intern for the Green Bay Packers, during their Super Bowl winning season in 1996. After spending one season as the West Coast Area Scout for the Washington Football Team, Nagy joined the New England Patriots as an area scout in 2002, spending 7 years with the team. He was hired by Scott Pioli in Kansas City as a National Scout before spending 5 years as the Southeast Area Scout for the Seattle Seahawks. Nagy was a part of six Super Bowl teams and four Lombardi Trophy winning clubs (Green Bay Packers XXXI, New England Patriots XXXVIII and XXXIX and Seattle Seahawks XLVIII) before taking over as Executive Director of the Senior Bowl in June 2018. One of Nagy’s first moves was to build the game’s first-ever scouting department composed of former NFL scouts and implement a formal scouting system. The 186 players drafted (and 80 in the first three rounds) is the best two-year draft record in the Senior Bowl’s 72-year history. Nagy has also worked as an on-air draft analyst for ESPN in the leadup to the 2019 and 2020 NFL drafts. In his role with the Senior Bowl, Nagy is responsible for the identification, evaluation, and selection of those invited to the game.

Tuesday will see a number of different beat writers join the team for 'Up For The Draft', with D. Orlando Ledbetter, Esq, who is currently the Atlanta Falcons/NFL Pro Sports Writer for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Tom Silverstein will also join the show. Silverstein has been covering the Green Bay Packers for more than 30 years and was a top-10 finisher in the Associated Press Sports Editors national beat writing competition in 2019. Ian St. Clair of Mile High Report and Play Colorado will preview the Denver Broncos pick. St. Clair is an award-winning sports journalist and Colorado native who has an extensive record covering the Broncos.

On Wednesday, 'The Draft Show' will premiere on Virgin Media Sport, following the Champions League semi-final between Paris Saint Germain and Manchester City. This historic broadcast will feature Ian Rapoport, who is an NFL Network Insider. Rapoport has covered the league since 2009, previously serving as Patriots beat reporter for the Boston Herald for three seasons.

With the NFL Draft on Thursday, the Irish NFL Show will premiere 'Draft Night Live' at 11:30PM, for the duration of the first round of the draft. A number of faces will drop in during each pick and the broadcast will be a perfect second screen for anyone staying up late to watch the picks, when the draft itself starts at 1AM.

The Irish NFL Show will be live on Friday and Saturday at 10PM and a special breakfast show will air on Friday morning, following the first round of the NFL Draft. 'Draft A:M' airs from 11AM on Friday, April 30th and can be found on The Irish NFL Show and Pundit Arena social channels.
